“ Lamppost Pizza is our local (closest) Pizzeria, so we've eaten here more than a couple of times. :-) So let me tell you why we like Lamppost. First off, the crust. The crust has a nice snap to it, with the crust having the right level of doughiness to be satisfying. The crust makes for a firm foundation, that you an easily eat a slice one handed. No floppy pizza's here. Something I can't say for some of the other pizzas we have tried, here in town. Stop the flop. Toppings are a personal choice but our go-to is a 1/2 Hawaiian and 1/2 Pepperoni, Sausage and Mushroom. Always great when a restaurant is able to accommodate everyone's favorites. The restaurant is staffed by younger employees, but they are always smiling, eager to help and make a mighty fine pie. Lamppost is definitely on our keeper list. ”

“ So, after my last review, the owner, "Jay W." finally responded. He told me to basically kick rocks. He addressed me by my formal, honorific title, Bishop. So, I thought, if he want's me to be a Christian and give second, third, and fourth chances, I have read that in the Christian scriptures somewhere. After taking some advice, I decided to go back again tonight and order the exact same thing I did previously. We sat in the bar. The bartender actually gave us service. We ordered the gluten free Whole Nine Yards pizza, crispy. They did not disappoint. I ordered a glass of house merlot (I'm gluten free, so no beer for me :(.). I had a nice merlot, and a crispy pizza. The pizza was not soggy nor was it burnt. Did they win me back? Well, let's see. Does Jay want to respond? I hope so. My recommendation is if you are ordering gluten free, ask for crispy. ”
“ I was pretty surprised by lamppost pizza, I must say. We were invited by friends and happily accepted. On the way we discussed everyone's favorite pizza toppings and was tickled to hear they were the same as ours. Sausage/Mushroom! They said it first so I knew they weren't just trying to please us. We sat at the bar and Sean, the bartender, waiter, buser etc was perfect. The place was busy and happy, just how we like. We Started with cocktails and they were wonderful. We appreciated that Sean let us enjoy a full cocktail before taking our food order. We like that wherever we go. It's been many, many, many years since I've been here but I will definitely come back for more great bar, pizza vibe. The pizza was incredibly good for the style of pizza that they produce. It's their version of thin crust and it definitely works for me. Perfect cheese, sauce and topping ratio! Bravo! ”
